1. How to add contact

Once you have logged in using your mobile number as the user name and your password received via SMS  it is a simple process -  You will be presented with a web page  showing  the status of the account.  To add a new contact just click on  "Add Contact"  link displayed or click on My Contacts on the menu on the left.

This will open a new web form for you to complete - Please make sure that you have the correct details  for the contact as MobileSOS can not be held responsible for you entering the wrong details. Also make sure you have spoken to the contact and they have agreed to act as your  contact.

Select the contact groups you want this contact to be added to  and click on "Add Contact".

Note That telephone and mobile numbers are entered without spaces or punctuation.

2. How to set Personal messages

Login using your mobile number as username and password received via SMS. Click on the "My Messages"  menu on the left.  

You will be presented with a web form with text boxes containing default text.  To change your Personal details or greetings Message just type your message in the text box associated with the Personal Details messages and click on  "Update  Message"

To listen to you messages simple click on LISTEN next to the text box. 

It is also possible to update this message via the IVR system - to do this phone the IVR number with your phone and follow the voice instructions for updating / recording your Personal Details messages. 

3. How to set Alarm message

Login using your mobile number as username and password received via SMS. Click on the "My Messages"  menu on the left.  

You will be presented with a web form with  two text boxes containing default text.  To change your Alarm Message just type your message in the text box and click on  "Update Alarm Message"

To listen to you messages simple click on the speaker icon next to the text box. 

It is also possible to update this message via the IVR system - to do this phone the IVR number with your phone and follow the voice instructions for updating / recording your Alarm Messages.

4. How to listen to your personal and alarm message

Login using your mobile number as username and password received via SMS. Click on the "My Messages"  menu on the left.  

You will be presented with a web form with  text boxes containing default text.  

To listen to you messages simple click on the LISTEN next to the text box. 

To listen to the complete message including your personal details and MobileSOS preamble click on the "speaker" icon next on the Account overview page. 

It is also possible to listen to your  messages via the IVR system - to do this phone the IVR number with your mobile  and follow the voice instructions. 

5. How to send vcard details to phone.

You should have received vcards containing all the speeddial numbers as part of the subscription process. However if you need the vcards send to you - please e-mail support@mobilesos.co.uk  with the subject 

Please send vcards to [mobile number] 

Make sure that you e-mail us your correct mobile number  

6. How to edit a contact.

Login using your mobile number as username and password received via SMS. 

Click on "My Contacts" on the Menu and then click on the "Edit"   next to the contact's name that you wish to edit

You will be presented with a web form to complete  - edit  the user details using this form and click UPDATE to complete the process.
